Kiftsgate Court Gardens and House

Located on top of Glyde Hill close to Chipping Camden with stunning views across the Vale of Evesham and the Malvern Hills, Kiftsgate Gardens is one of the most beautiful and romantic English country gardens in the Cotswolds. Privately owned, Kiftsgate’s gardens were originally created by landscape designer, Heather Muir over 100 years ago. Carefully maintained ever since, the gardens offer formal and informal landscaped terraces, ornamental pool gardens and pretty courtyards, perfect for drinks receptions and photo opportunities. There’s space for a marquee available in front the house or on a flat lawn close by.

Kiftsgate House, an exquisite Georgian fronted private home, is also available for exclusive use dry hire for weekend house parties for up to 40 guests and sleeps 12 and is available with exclusive use of the gardens from Friday to Sunday from April to October 2022. A number of lovely churches in which to tie the knot lie close by.

Cornwell Manor, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire

One of the most incredible settings for a wedding, Cornwell’s Georgian fronted Manor is available for exclusive hire Thursday to Sunday during the summer months of June to September, to include accommodation for up to 24 guests in 12 bedrooms and use of the tranquil gardens landscaped by Clough Williams-Ellis. A pretty Norman church 200m from the house seats up to 80 or for civil ceremonies the elegant ballroom can seat up to 100. For field suppers, marquees can be positioned in the Park with its lakeside setting and wonderful views or in a gorgeous field to the rear of the estate, edged by a stream with flat areas perfect for a Tipi or other temporary structure.

Hilles House, Stroud, Gloucestershire

A romantic Grade II listed Arts & Crafts home designed by celebrated architect, Detmar Jellings Blow, hidden away right on the edge of the Cotswolds with far-reaching views over five counties from its terrace and lawned garden ideal for drinks receptions. Once the home of fashion visionary, Isabella Blow, who entertained some of Britain’s most celebrated designers here, including Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy.

Hilles House is available for exclusive dry hire of the gardens and there’s a permanent yurt (seats 100) set up on the lawn for wedding breakfasts and celebrations between May and September. Hilles House is licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests in its magnificent Great Hall decorated with antiques, tapestries and an impressive fireplace. Overnight glamping is also available, as is a field carpark.
